In the past, I’ve only shared concepts that have been successful and have gone on to development, but I wanted to share a dashboard concept that failed in customer testing.
After interviewing 10+ customers using a prototype that includes this mockup, we realized that we were solving the wrong problem. Long story short, we realized that there were foundational IA issues that needed to be solved before attempting to build UI, so we scrapped this approach and are currently working on rebuilding our product’s IA.
